Many guests bring bicycles with them on holiday and therefore have bike racks mounted on their cars. Unfortunately, every year the police report thefts of bike racks from cars parked at holiday homes and vacation properties in several parts of the country. These thefts typically occur at night.
To avoid unpleasant surprises, we recommend that you either securely lock the bike rack to the car or remove it and store it inside the holiday home when it is not in use.
