Heat pump

How the heat pump works

The heat pump is easy to use once you know how it should be set. Here you will find a short and simple guide so you can quickly achieve the desired temperature in the house.

How the heat pump works

Most heat pumps are controlled directly from the remote control. You simply choose the temperature you want and whether the pump should heat (HEAT), cool (COOL) or simply circulate the air (FAN).

Note:
If the heat pump is set to AUTO, it will not necessarily start heating. Therefore we recommend that AUTO is not used.

How to set the heat pump

Check that the remote control shows ON.
Select HEAT (or COOL if cooling is desired).
Use the up/down arrows to set the desired temperature.
Wait 3–5 minutes. It is completely normal that slightly cool air comes out in the beginning before the pump reaches the correct temperature.

If the heat pump is not working properly

Sometimes a small reset helps:

Press the MODE button.
Then select HEAT again and set the temperature as described above.

If the heat pump does not respond at all

A full reset can often help. Turn off the power to the heat pump for a few minutes, turn it back on, and then try to start it again.
