The consumption taxes (see tenancy agreement) are not included in the rent price. Electricity and telephone are paid at a fixed rate. Consumption is in all cases for guidance only. Consumption rates can vary – therefore there may be deviations to the stated prices for electricity, water and heating. The house will be preheated in the winter months. You only pay for the heating - the service work is included in the rent price. This also applies all year round to houses with swimming pool and pre-filled whirlpools. Houses with swimming pool will often use more electricity because of the necessary health and safety checks of the water quality. The water is renewed in all pre-filled whirlpools before the beginning of each tenancy - and sometimes during a tenancy, and this will cause a higher energy consumption because of the heating. In both cases the service work is free - you only pay for the heating.
The amount for the consumption will be deducted from your deposit, which will be refunded through your bank no later than 2 weeks after your departure. See Deposit.
