Local support that makes a difference

At Sol og Strand, we want to help create vibrant and attractive local communities in Denmark's holiday home areas. That's why we support local associations, dedicated individuals and projects that encourage a sense of community, create experiences and promote development. These efforts benefit local residents, holiday home owners and holiday guests alike.

Support for local projects and associations

Through "Den Lokale Håndsrækning", we allocate DKK 50,000 each year to local projects through each of our local offices. Our local office managers review applications and distribute funding to initiatives that make a positive difference in their communities. In addition to "Den Lokale Håndsrækning", we also support special projects.

Collaboration with regional tourism organisations

We also collaborate with numerous regional tourism organisations across Denmark. These organisations are responsible for developing local tourism in their respective municipalities. Together, we work to strengthen and further develop Denmark's holiday destinations.
