Bronze Cone – Fokus on Energy

The label covers the main sources of energy consumption in the holiday home. Holiday homes approved for Bronze Cone – Fokus on Energy meet requirements that cover as much as 90% of the energy consumption in the holiday home.

The holiday home is energy-optimised within:

• Exterior wall and ceiling insulation
• Window and door glass quality
• Heating source such as heat pump or district heating that can heat at least 50% of the holiday home, primarily the shared living areas
• Lighting with a minimum of 90% LED

Appliances in the holiday home have been optimised as follows:

• Energy-labelled water heater and refrigerator
• Nordic Swan Ecolabelled or A-labelled wood-burning stoves and pellet stoves

Other measures:

• Water-saving shower
• Fixed washing line or drying rack that can hold an entire wash

For swimming pool, jacuzzi and/or hot tub, the following have been optimised:

• Heating method
• Insulation and windows
• Cover

Note on energy consumption

The energy consumption of a holiday home with a pool, jacuzzi or hot tub is significantly higher and cannot be compared to the energy consumption of a standard holiday home.
