Freezer capacity of 110 litres. Further more there is 1 wood-burning stove. For the youngest ones there is 1 high chair. The holiday home is situated on a 2000 m² dune site. Situated 250 m from the sea. Nearest shop is 3000 m away. A 40 m² terrace belong to the holiday home. Furthermore the house has a 12 m² covered terrace. Swing. Parking place by the holiday home. All together there are 4 bedrooms. The beds are divided on: 6 sleeping places

in double beds. 2 sleeping places in single beds. Moreover 1 cot for a baby (0-3 years). The kitchen is equipped with 1 refrigerator. Huset er som sådan pænt og rent, men med fire stjerner forventede vi en højere standard. Møbler og inventaret er slidt, der er kun to danske TV-kanaler og så kræver det en større indsats, hvis man vil benytte spa’en - havde den været med luft, ville det være langt lettere. Ejerne burde tage et ophold selv for at se, hvad der trænger til en opgradering.

Egentlig et ok hus, men slidt. Værelserne små uden mulighed for at pakke kufferten ud på grund af manglende skabsplads. Der er kun et lille skab med en enkelthylde i hvert værelse. skabene var fyldt med ekstra sengetøj. Ud over en bøjlestang var der ingen mulighed for plads til tøj. Ved ankomst virkede TV ikke. Sengelamperne i 2 af værelserne virkede ikke (pærerne sprunget samt et defekt stik). SPA-badet virkede ikke. Kunne ikke varme vandet op. Desuden var vandet snavset, satte rande på badekarret selv om det ikke kom i brug på grund af det kolde vand.

Houvig is a popular holiday area at the North Sea, just north of the inlet Ringkøbing Fjord.

The holiday houses are situated in a slightly hilly dune area between the North Sea and the inlet Stadil Fjord. The lovely beach, the unique location between the sea and the inlet, the varying scenic landscapes and the many leisure activities make Houvig an attractive holiday destination. Here you can swim, drive on your bicycle, hike or just have a good time in peaceful surroundings.
Søndervig, 3 km from Houvig, offers good shopping possibilities, more restaurants as well as a few bars and a discotheque.

Western Jutland - the Danish esplanade

 

The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland.
If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south.
By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.
