There is floorheating all over the holiday home. The holiday home has washing machine. Tumble dryer. Freezer capacity of 50 litres. Further more there is 1 wood-burning stove. For the youngest ones there is 1 high chair. The holiday home is situated on a 700 m² natural site. Situated 500 m from the Wadden Sea. Nearest shop is 900 m away. Swing. Sandbox. Barbecue at your disposal. Carport is at your disposal. Parking place

by the holiday home. All together there are 3 bedrooms. The beds are divided on: 4 sleeping places in double beds. 2 sleeping places in sofa bed (double). Moreover 1 cot for a baby (0-3 years). The kitchen is equipped with 1 refrigerator. There are 4 electric hotplates, microwave oven and dishwasher. Entgegen der Erwartungen auf Grundlage der bisherigen Bewertungen zu diesem Ferienhaus sind wir bei Anreise doch positiv überrascht gewesen. Das Haus wurde sehr sauber überlassen, alles wirkte frisch renoviert, bzw. gestrichen. Bei durchgehend betriebener Fussbodenheizung, die man leider nicht ausschalten konnte, da man sonst Warmwasser mit abschaltet, war es natürlich immer sehr warm im Haus. Die Fenster musste man also durchgehend offen halten. Leider (oder teilweise gut) waren nicht alle Fenster zu öffnen, da man Griffe entfernt hat bzw. die Fenster defekt waren. Bei manchen Winden war das tatsächlich gut so. Der Grill war leider aufgrund der Korrosion nicht mehr nutzbar, wir haben einen eigenen gekauft, den wir beim Inventar gelassen haben. Die Sauna konnte leider nicht genutzt werden, da Ameisen sich hinter dem Holz gut breit machen und sich samt Holzspäne auf dem Boden befinden. Die Türgriffe müssen dringend ersetzt werden, da es bei fast allen Türen mit Mühe verbunden war, zu öffnen oder zu schließen. Von der Umgebung her in Ordnung, liegt an einer befahrenen Straße mit einer KFZ Werkstatt nebenan, diese merkt man aber nur, wenn man den ganzen Tag im Haus verbringt. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und konnten einen tollen Urlaub mit der Familie verbringen. Bei Verbesserung von Kleinigkeiten würde ich das Haus für den nächsten Urlaub auch wieder buchen.

Die Gegend ist wundervoll. Wir kommen seit mehreren Jahren. Das Haus war diesmal eine Katastrophe. Wir sind drei Nächte früher abgereist. Das Haus stank nach Schimmel, Antischimmelfarbe und in den Bädern nach Abwasser. Die Schränke in Küche und Waschküche waren stark beschädigt. Hundekot in der Heizungsecke. Heizung nicht regelbar, dadurch dauerhaft 25 Grad im Haus durch die Fußbodenheizung. Viele Fensterverschlüsse defekt. Das Haus hat trotz Vermietung an Hundehalter auch Teppichböden. Diese waren dementsprechend verschmutzt und fleckig. Mit Dauerlüften und vielen Ausflügen war es ein paar Tage zu verdrängen, jedoch bei Wetterverschlechterung nicht mehr zumutbar. Wir haben alles im Vermittlungsbüro in der selben Straße angezeigt, jedoch bisher keine Reaktion erhalten. Hätten wir vorher bei GoogleMaps geschaut, hätten wir auch gesehen das das Haus direkt neben einer Kfz-Werkstatt steht! Unser kleiner Sohn hatte zum Glück trotzdem Spaß am Strand und bei den Wickingern. Ohne den wären wir wohl noch früher abgereist.

The area around Ballum, in the south-western corner of southern Jutland, is a rough, but also lush and unique landscape - an ideal holiday resort for the bird fancier, the anglers and the nature lover. The area is quiet and situated close to both sights and the dam that leads to the island Rømø in the Jutland Wadden Sea. Ballum consists of 7 small and cosy villages, and here you will find shops with groceries and a few restaurants.

Western Jutland - the Danish esplanade

 

The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland.
If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south.
By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.
