Da vi ankom til sommerhuset, havde huset ingen varme haft i længere tid. Så kl 18,30 fik vi først varmen efter et alt for gennem koldt sommerhus skulle opvarmes. Da vi så skulle lave mad, var gryderne meget mangelfulde. En sågar ødelagt i emaljen, så den kunne ej bruges. Så blev det sengetid, og det bagerste værelse ved køkkenet blev forælderens. Men kun for en kort stund, da der lugtede jordslået i rummet så der kunne man ikke sove. Alle disse ting resulterede i vi desværre måtte køre hjem før planlagt.

Vi beklager meget at sommerhuset ikke levede op til jeres forventninger. Vi er kede af at I ikke har henvendt jer til vores lokalbureau i jeres lejeperiode, så Sol og Strand havde haft en mulighed for at håndtere jeres klage under opholdet. Derfor kan vi kun modtage dette som en information. Vi håber at vi en anden gang må byde jer velkommen som feriegæster hos os Husejer fortæller at badeværelse er renoveret. Vi har tidligere booket sommerhus hos Sol og Strand, hvor sommerhuset har været af fin standard, men dette sommerhus på Møn på adressen Pælen 11 er under standard. Specielt i forhold til prisen, som alt andet lige ikke er i den høje ende, og vi er ikke kræsne. Der var en lidt underlig lugt af mug i huset. Løse skabslåger i køkkenet og en meget løs vandhane i køkkenet. Yderdøren kunne ikke låses op hverken udefra eller udefra. Der var maddiker i den ene skraldespand. Desuden en elendig teledækning, men det var vist generelt for området. Som sagt er vi ikke kræsne, men når i udlejer sommerhuse og tager penge for det, skal ovennævnte bare ikke være et problem.

Stege on Møn is a cosy holiday area - ideal for families, anglers and nature lovers in particular.

The mediaeval town Stege is the largest town on the beautiful island Møn, but still a cosy, well-arranged and very historic town. The history of the town goes back 1,000 years and can be read from the old merchant's houses, the streets and the squares. The ramparts of the town originate from the Middle Ages and are Denmark's oldest preserved fortifications.
Stege is an ideal holiday destination for water sport activities such as yachting, windsurfing and angling.
Stege offers good shopping possibilities and more restaurants.
Møn is connected to Sealand and Falster by bridges, and the ferry services to Germany and Sweden are only about an hours drive away.

Lolland, Falster and Mon - the Danish islands in the south

 

These three islands make up an interesting corner of Denmark with the exceptional and scenic nature as well as the beach life on the beautiful, white and sandy beaches. The bathing water is especially suitable for children because of the low content of salt and the level salt meadows.
On Falster you'll find the wonderful 20-km-long beach of Marielyst and the impressive forest Corselitze skovene with plenty of historic passage graves and cairns. Boto Nor is a preserved bird sanctuary and an important breeding place for migratory birds.
The high chalk cliff 'Mons Klint' on Mon is one of the most famous and frequented natural areas in Denmark. Mon has an abundance of cultural monuments, e.g. the best-preserved ramparts of Scandinavia.
Lolland offers an extremely comprehensive coastal landscape with salt meadows, shallow water, fresh reed swamps and a network of paths. The winding roads lead through small, idyllic villages and pass lovely beechwoods, beautiful castles and manor houses.
