Wir haben uns in dem kleinen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir haben eine entspannte "Mutter-Tochter-Woche" mit Hund verbracht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar ein Waffelautomat gibt es! Optimal ist das Haus für ein Paar, ggf. mit 1 Kind, das gut auf dem Sofa schlafen kann. Ich finde, das gemütliche Annex ist nur bedingt als Schlafraum geeignet. Da es nicht gedämmt ist, heißt es sich tagsüber sehr auf bzw. es kann nachts kühl werden. Da die Straße direkt dahinter verläuft ist es zudem für mich etwas zu laut gewesen. Für unseren "Wachhund" war die Vorsaison richtig. In der Hauptsaison wäre am Grundstück zu viel Betrieb gewesen. Außerdem war uns das Grundstück etwas zu einsichtig. Unterm Strich ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub in schöner Umgebung! Die morgendlichen Spaziergänge am Strand werde ich vermissen!

Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet. Auf den Terrassen findet sich immer ein gemütliches Plätzchen und wird dort öfter von verschiedenen Tieren (Reh, Fasan,Eichhörnchen und Vögel) besucht. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und auch sehr gut für Fahrradausflüge geeignet. Nur zum Einkaufen oder weggehen braucht man ein Auto. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt ist hier genau richtig.

The lovely holiday house area Gedesby is situated just north of Gedser on the southern part of Falster.

In Gedesby the original village pond, the church and the old streets have been preserved.
Gedser, 3 km south of Gedesby, is an active commercial town with a ferry service to Germany. The area, surrounding Gedesby and Gedser, is turning into a first class holiday area. Here you will find peace and quiet in cosy and scenic surroundings. Furthermore, the area is a good starting point for excursions in the area. Gedesby contains a bakery, which is open from Easter until Autumn.

Lolland, Falster and Mon - the Danish islands in the south

 

These three islands make up an interesting corner of Denmark with the exceptional and scenic nature as well as the beach life on the beautiful, white and sandy beaches. The bathing water is especially suitable for children because of the low content of salt and the level salt meadows.
On Falster you'll find the wonderful 20-km-long beach of Marielyst and the impressive forest Corselitze skovene with plenty of historic passage graves and cairns. Boto Nor is a preserved bird sanctuary and an important breeding place for migratory birds.
The high chalk cliff 'Mons Klint' on Mon is one of the most famous and frequented natural areas in Denmark. Mon has an abundance of cultural monuments, e.g. the best-preserved ramparts of Scandinavia.
Lolland offers an extremely comprehensive coastal landscape with salt meadows, shallow water, fresh reed swamps and a network of paths. The winding roads lead through small, idyllic villages and pass lovely beechwoods, beautiful castles and manor houses.
