Fanø is a popular holiday destination for guests staying in holiday homes and is characterised by wide beaches, distinctive Fanø houses and small town environments. The island is easy to navigate, with short distances between beach, nature and the smaller towns.

Sol og Strand’s local office is located in Nordby, just a few minutes’ drive from the ferry. Here you can get help with questions about your stay, the holiday home and the island in general. The staff has strong local knowledge and is familiar with both the individual holiday homes and the many possibilities on Fanø. We speak Danish, German and English.

The holiday homes are spread across the island in quiet surroundings, often with plenty of space around them and easy access to both beach and town. Distances are short, making it easy to get around.

Many spend their days outdoors, whether at the beach, cycling around the island or walking through the landscape. There is also the opportunity to play golf and enjoy other activities that can easily be combined with beach visits and excursions. For families, the setting is clear and safe.
