With Sol og Strand it is easy to settle your consumption of electricity etc. in the holiday home. When you rent a holiday home with us, you pay a deposit together with the last instalment of the rent. After your departure we set your consumption off against the deposit. In that way the settling goes on automatically and you don’t have to think about it at your departure.
In 90 % of all cases the deposit covers the consumption of the holiday guests. We will refund the additional part of your deposit to your bank account 2 weeks after your return - at the latest.
If you have paid the deposit through bank transfer, please state your account number when you book your holiday home. In this way we can refund any additional part of your deposit to your account.
Did you pay the deposit with credit card, we will refund any additional amount to the credit card, which was used for the payment. Please notice that it can take up to 5 banking days before the amount is registered in you account.
In case of incomplete or incorrect bank account details, you will only receive one statement, in which we request the correct bank information. It is your responsibility to provide Sol og Strand with the correct bank account details. Please note that the refunding of deposits is limited to a period of 5 years.
If the deposit does not cover your consumption during the holiday, we will send you a bill with the necessary payment information.
