Vejers Strand is a charming holiday resort at the North Sea.

The holiday houses in the recreational area Vejers Strand are situated from the uttermost ranges of dunes and all the way out towards the water - in the middle of the magnificent nature of western Jutland. The endless sandy beach, the fresh air, the large dune plantation and the impressive moor landscapes make the area extraordinarily attractive at all times of the year. Vejers is a cosy town with grocery shops, special shops, a candle factory, a sweet manufacturer, an art gallery and more restaurants. Behind the dunes you will find a scenic landscape with unique possibilities for experiencing this lovely area around the lake Langsø and the plantation Kærgaard Plantage on foot, on bicycle or on horseback.

Western Jutland - the Danish esplanade

The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland.
If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south.
By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.
