You can bring along 1 pet.The holiday home is equipped with 1 energy-saving heat pump. The holiday home has washing machine. Tumble dryer. Freezer capacity of 105 litres. Further more there is 1 wood-burning stove. The holiday home is situated on a 2200 m² natural site. Situated 800 m from the sea. Nearest shop is 600 m away. A 51 m² terrace belong to the holiday home. You find a tool shed. Swing. Sandbox. Parking place by the holiday home. You can play and have a great time together in the indoor swimming pool. The swimming pool is 3,6 m wide, 7,8
m long and it is up to 1,2 m deep. The water temperature is between 24 and 28 ° C hot. All together there are 5 bedrooms. The beds are divided on: 8 sleeping places in double beds. 2 sleeping places in single beds. The kitchen is equipped with 1 refrigerator. There are 4 ceramic cooking plates, hot-air oven, microwave oven and dishwasher. There are 2 bathrooms with shower cabinet and 2 toilets. There is floor heating in 2 bathrooms. FanoFano is a charming, little island between the North Sea and the Wadden Sea. Fano is simply an atmosphere of relaxed holiday, a 15 kilometer long, wide sandy beach, plenty of beautiful nature and cosy cafés and eateries and a lot of exciting, maritime cultural history. Fano exudes a holiday atmosphere.
Please note that the holiday home is situated on an island without a fixed land link,so you have to go by ferry to get to your holiday home. Take the Fano ferry from Esbjerg to Nordby on Fano. The Fano ferry sails several times an hour, so if you don’t catch the ferry in time, you will not have to wait long for the next one. The crossing takes 12 minutes.

Dejligt stort hus med gode senge. Ligger centralt for strand og indkøb. Dog er der 1,5 km til strand ad nærmeste gå/cykelvej og ikke 800 mtr som oplyst.
Medbring tørresnor. Tag endelig cykler med. Vi lejede cykler i flere dage, men for de samme penge kunne vi ha købt en god cykelholder til 4 medbragte cykler. Vi var i huset i højsæson og trods corona føltes Fanø ikke overrendt af turister. Vi havde booket bord på 2 restauranter flere uger inden ankomst hvilket var en rigtig god ide hvis man er mange☺ Prøv gåtur på den bilfrie strand nord for Fanø bad☺ Fanø er et fantastisk sted at geare ned.

Older, beautiful holiday houses and the 18 km long, white and sandy beach characterize the holiday town Fanø Bad.
Fanø Bad is situated on the western shore of Fanø, right by Denmark's oldest, 18-hole golf course from 1902 and only a few km from Nordby, the ferry and skipper town of the island. Here you can swim, surf, collect amber, play golf, tennis, minigolf and much more, or just relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings. It is possible to buy groceries and dine in Fanø Bad.
The 56 square kilometre island is situated only 1.5 km from the main land, and the ferry crossing from Esbjerg to Fanø takes no more than 13 minutes. The old, idyllic and urban surroundings, the characteristic houses with thatched roofs, the narrow roads, the outstanding sandy beach, the fresh air, the scenic nature and the cosy island atmosphere make Fanø an attractive holiday destination.

Western Jutland - the Danish esplanade
The west coast is rough, fresh, roaring and delightfully exhilarating. You will find long, wide and sandy beaches with high dunes as far as the eye can see. You can experience some of Denmark's most scenic sunsets over the North See from the beaches in western Jutland.
If you prefer calmer water and characteristic natural experiences, you ought to visit the preserved peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are gambolling, or the bird sanctuary Tipperne at Ringkobing Fjord. These places offer impressive sights, as millions of migratory birds gather here every spring and autumn on their way towards north or south.
By the lighthouse 'Blaavandshuk Fyr' you will find Denmark's most western point. Surrounding the lighthouse the many concrete bunkers still bear widness of World War II.

The dimensions of the swimming pool are 7,8 x 3,6 x 1,2 metres. Length x width x depth are measured on the widest, longest and deepest place.
When you collect your key you will receive a special brochure regarding your stay in a holiday home with swimming pool.
To enjoy a successful holiday you have to observe a few simple bathing rules, which are mentioned in the holiday home.
It costs energy to heat up large quantities of water. You can reduce the energy consumption by drawing the thermal cover over the swimming pool. By doing that you will reduce both the energy consumption and the evaporation in the pool area.
The water temperature of an indoor swimming pool typically varies between 24-28° C.
Control
All houses with swimming pool or pre-filled whirlpool will be visited by one of the specially trained service workers of Sol og Strand - at least once a week. The visit is free of charge.
The Environmental and Mulcipal Food Control Unit in Denmark educate our service workers and they have all received a diploma of swimmingpool technique and water quality. This is your guarantee for an accurate control with private swimming pools and whirlpools when you rent a holiday home with Sol og Strand. But still you cannot compare the swimming pools and whirlpools of a holiday home with common swimming baths.
The control visit could have been carried out just before your arrival - or perhaps it will take place during your stay.
During the control visit the chlorine and pH value will be analyzed, controlled and perhaps adjusted. Simultaneously the temperature and clearness of the water is controlled and the technique is tested.
Water quality
The water quality of the swimming pools and pre-filled whirlpools in holiday homes is superb. Therefore, it is important that you observe a few simple bathing rules that are available in the holiday home.
In order to give you the optimum water quality, the number of persons must correspond to the number of persons, which was stated by the booking. This is decisive in order for the service worker to dose the suitable amount of chlorine. The more persons, who use the swimming pool, the faster the chlorine is used. The chlorine value is adjusted individually in relation to your holiday.
