Nature

Experience the characteristic natural landscape with the marsh and the Jutland Wadden Sea ¿ a phenomenon, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Meadows and streams towards north, moors towards south and the sea towards west. Witness the marsh on food or on bicycle and let yourself be fascinated by the rough, but incredible nature with the rich animal life. You are often able to spot the seals that sojourn in the western parts of the Jutland Wadden Sea. The meadow area Ballum Enge is situated right behind the dikes of the sea, and here you are able to observe swans, goose and lapwings. Sometimes during spring and autumn you are able to experience the unforgettable phenomenon 'black sun'. About one million starlings gather shortly before sunset and perform, according to the locals, a drama on the sky.
