Havnsø is situated in the bay 'Nekselø Bugt' and has always been an important ferry berth. Havnsø belongs to the area Odsherred, which is famous for it's unique light. As the holiday houses of this area are not often let off to tourists, but vacated by the owners, the region still appears 'typically Danish'. You can swim, enjoy nature and experience the culture and sights of the area here. If you wish to play golf, the 18-hole course of 'Kalundborg Golf Klub' is recommendable.
If you wish to go horseback riding, it is possible to rent riding horses more places in the area.
