Likewise, the region is an Eldora do for anglers: You have the Liim Fiord, several lakes and the well-known Karup River, which is famous for its outstanding stock of sea trouts. But the region offers more than that, e.g. canoe - kayak - water skiing - diving - fitness - tennis - surfing. Resting birds inhabit the uttermost part of the spit, and often it is possible to spot seals here. By the scenic areas 'Urhøjene' and 'Junget Krat', 20 km north of Skive, you can experience a magnificent view of Salling, the islands of Fur and Livø, Himmerland and Mors from the highest point in the area (56 m).
The clean inlet offers good conditions for surfers. Anglers can fish directly from the shore or on the inlet from a boat. Golf players have good opportunities in the area.
