Beach

The designation beach does not necessarily mean that the beach is suitable for bathing. The distance to the beach is measured in a direct line to the nearest shoreline, and therefore, the distance, stated in the house presentation, can be longer in connection with low tide.

The appearance of the beaches varies according to the weather and season. In some places the coasts are steep (most have access steps during the summer). Please respect the natural environment and use the marked paths and roads. The designation child-friendly beach does not necessary indicate that the beach is a sandy beach. A sandy beach can contain rocks as well. Motoring is allowed on some beaches.

If you wish to receive detailed information about the beach, you can contact your local Sol og Strand office, the tourist board Danmarks Turistråd or the local tourist office.
