Visit Hjerl Hede when the history becomes active and vivid.
During the period from 25th June to 18th August 2011 the open-air museum Hjerl Hede is summer vitalized. Travel back in time and experience the workshops, where the blacksmith, the coachbuilder, the clog maker, the baker and many other skilled craftsmen carry out their work according to the old methods and techniques. In the living rooms and the kitchens the women are busy cooking and carrying out household duties. You can also observe the activities at the sawmill, in the bog and in the stone-age village.
