ARoS presents the exhibition 'Yue Minjun - The archaeological find, year 3009'.
From 26 March 2011 you go on a journey forward in time - to the year 3009. AroS opens an interesting exhibition with works, which give you an insight into the world in the year 3009, by the famous Chinese contemporary artist Yue Minjun. The humorous works contain hysterically laughing faces, which are a portrait of the artist himself, as well as animals and objects from our time and prehistoric time, which symbolise, that we don?t always make out our ancestors lives. The exhibition consists of paintings, sculptures and installation art, and with his art, Yue Minjun incites that the beholder relate critically to our modern lifestyle. You can see the exhibition until 5. June 2011.
