The museum for religious art 'Museet for Religiøs Kunst' in Lemvig shows an exhibition with paintings of the Dane Wiliam Skotte Olsen from 9 April to 12 June 2011. Wiliam Skotte Olsen (1945-2005) was a colouristic figure painter, who in an expressive and primitive way portrayed a fairytale world with abstract persons, fabulous animal and buildings. Wiliam Skotte Olsen lived an agitated life and many of his paintings were completed under primitive and complex conditions. This exhibition contains the artist?s best paintings - from 1966 and about 40 years ahead.
