Experience an authentic and evocative exhibition about the women camp on the island Femø.
Until September 2012 you can visit the museum Stiftsmuseet in Maribo on Lolland and step into the 1970?ies women camp on Femø. The special exhibition has been created with photos, music, original objects and reconstructed camp environments - among others the common tent of the camp, where the women ate, discussed, sang and partied. The exhibition gives you an interesting and entertaining insight into the feminist movement, the development and history of the camp as well as the life of the participants - then and now. 'The women camp on Femø' is open Wednesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The admission costs 30 DKK for adults and is free for children under the age of 18.
