The museum KUNSTEN presents an exhibition with spectacular works, made out of wax.
The sensational group exhibition at KUNSTEN 'Wax - Sensation in contemporary sculpture' focuses on wax in contemporary sculptures and includes a number of the most significant wax works from the last two decades. Among other feelings, the exhibition awakens fascination, horror and delight with the viewer, and it is divided in different themes. One place you can experience very realistic and present figures, and another place the human mind, the unperfect body and the tragedy are in focus. You can experience wax works of Danish, European and American visual artists at this captivating and suggestive exhibition, which is open from 28 May to 11 September 2011.
