The Danish queen Margrethe II exhibits her works at ARKEN.
From 28th January 2012 you can experience acrylic paintings, watercolour paintings and decoupages from the last 35 years, painted by the Danish queen Margrethe II. The exhibitions has been established on the occasion of the queen?s 40 years reign anniversary and is named 'Farvens sjæl' (The soul of colour) because of the queen?s unique flair for expressing atmospheres and states of mind by means of colours. Through the paintings the viewer comes close to the person behind the paintings. You can experience poetic, dramatic, humorous and imaginative works at this exhibition, which is shown until 1st July 2012.
