Robert Jacobsen 100 years - In strokes & steel
Fyns Kunstmuseum shows a special exhibition with sculptures and graphic works by Robert Jacobsen.
In the occasion of the 100th anniversary for the birth of Robert Jacobsen, the art museum Fyns Kunstmuseum has arranged an exhibition with sculptures and graphic works by the internationally famous sculptor, graphic designer and painter. Robert Jacobsen (1912-1993) was a figurative artist with his own personal style. At the exhibition 'I streg & stål' (In strokes & steel) you can among other things experience his fabulous stone animals and the characteristic sculptures, made out of wood, steel and various recycled materials. All of the pieces at the exhibition were created during the years 1949 to 1981. You can see the exhibition until 4th March 2012.
