Louisiana on paper: Ellsworth Kelly
Experience distinctive drawings by the American Ellsworth Kelly at Louisiana.
Louisiana presents an exhibition with drawings by the famous American artist Ellsworth Kelly (born 1923), who finds inspiration for his works in nature. He possesses his own specific abstract imagery that he developed during his younger years, when he visited France as was fascinated by artists like Monet, Hans Arp and Matisse. The 65 drawings at the exhibition represent plants and flowers, which are all drawn in the characteristic Ellsworth Kelly way - with simplicity and precision. You can see the exhibition from 26th January to 13th May 2012.
