Trapholt shows an exhibition with haute couture in plastic and paper by Annette Meyer.
The Danish artist Annette Meyer (born 1966) has created a number of beautiful costumes and suits with unusual materials. The clothes are made of colourful paper and plastic packaging from international consumer goods. And it is the packaging that sells, evokes interest and creates an illusion about the product, or in this case the person, inside the packaging. The exhibition 'Icon Dressed / BODYWRAPPInc.' has formerly been on display in New York, Tokyo and Rotterdam, and is now shown in Denmark for the first time. You can see this interesting exhibition from 25th January 2012 until 6th January 2013 at Trapholt.
