Gertrud Vasegaard - Ceramic poems

The art museum Bornholms Kunstmuseum shows a pottery exhibition with works of the Danish ceramic artist Gertrud Vasegaard.
Gertrud Vasegaard (1913-2007) was one of Denmark?s greatest ceramic artists, and at the exhibition 'Keramiske digte' (Ceramic poems) you can experience a number of her unique poetic works. The works, which are created in the years 1930 to 2005, are simple and express a very special serenity, but at the same time they are full of surprising details. With each work of art Gertrud Vasegaard has created a ceramic poem. You can see the exhibition 25th September 2011 till 2nd January 2012.
