Finn Juhl at Trapholt

The design icon Finn Juhl is celebrated with an anniversary exhibition at Trapholt.
On 30th January 2012 it was100 years ago since the famous Danish designer Finn Juhl was born, and for that occasion Trapholt shows a special exhibition about the Danish architect and designer, who died in 1989. The exhibition contains a number of famous Finn Juhl furniture, among others Høvdingestolen (the chief chair) and the 45 chair. Finn Juhl is famous for his organic and sculptural mode of expression - both in Denmark and abroad. Together with Arne Jacobsen, among others, Finn Juhl was one of the Danish designers behind 'Danish Modern', which lead to an export boom of Danish design furniture in the 60'ies.
