Gl. Estrup, Dansk Landbrugsmuseum shows a special exhibition about the youth in the country during the 1960?ies.
Experience the genuine atmosphere of the 60'ies at the exhibition 'The lovely youth years' (De dejlige ungdomsår) at the museum Gl. Estrup. Here you can hear about the youth culture in the province in the 60'ies and see a number of effects and objects from this decade. Find out how the young people spend their leisure time, hear about the youth revolution, women's liberation, hippies and protest songs. Listen to the popular music of this time and see which clothes and hairstyles were in fashion. This generation of young people rebelled against the norms of their parents, and the adults were outraged at the long Beatles hair, the miniskirts and the liberated viewpoints of the youth. You can come along back to the 60'ies from 1st February until 12th August 2012.
