Experience an international exhibition about the world?s greatest ship catastrophe on H. C. Andersen Slottet in Tivoli.
From 10 April 2011 - exactly 99 years after the day, when Titanic left the quay in Southampton, Tivoli opens the exhibition 'Titanic - The Exhibition' about the shipwreck of Titanic. The luxury liner sank on the night between 14 and 15 April 1912, 640 km south of Newfoundland. Titanic dragged 1495 persons down with it and 712 persons survived. On the exhibition you can meet selected fates from the luxury liner. Among other things you can here an interview with a Dane, who survived the wreck. Sense the atmosphere onboard the wrecked ship, see the recreated suites, letters from the casualties and more than 200 irreplaceable original effects from the ship. By the entrance you will receive an mp3-player, which will guide you around in the exhibition and through the wreck. The exhibition is created by the Spaniard Jesús Ferreiro and seen by more than 1.2 million people before it came to Tivoli, where you experience it until 30 December 2011.
