The amusement park Djurs Sommerland is getting ready for the season 2011 with a great and exciting novelty.
The novelty Skatteøen (Treasure island) is Europe?s largest water coaster and the only one of its kind in Denmark. Here children of all ages can enter the world of pirates and have an adrenalin rush when you ride in a roller coaster through an exceptional pirate landscape. You will be pulled up 28 metres and then you will whizz through the air and land in the water with a big splash. Skatteøen is 455 metres long, offers a top speed of op to 70 km/h, and it drops down 22 metres into the water. Look forward to a new and entertaining experience for the whole family.
