Summer activities on Funen

Funen invites the whole family to a cosy and active summer holiday.
The summer of 2011 offers a number of experiences on Funen. You can go on a trip to Kiwara - Wild Africa in Odense Zoo and try to feed a giraffe, or step into the old village Den Fynske Landsby and experience, how life went on in the 19th century. Have you tried to run a train? If not you can try it in the railway museum Danmarks Jernbanemuseum. Naturama offers summer theatre and interesting ranger activities. You can visit the new museum 'Fra Slotsfruens Gemmer' (from the archives of the châtelaine) and try the recently established 'Oldefars Legeplads' (great grandfather?s playground) at the castle Egeskov Slot. Or how about a cosy sail with the paddle steamer 'Helene Ærø' from the harbour of Assens? Have a good summer on Funen.
