The theme of the international sand sculpture festival is 'The Roman Empire and its dictators', and on the beach of Søndervig, 28 of the world?s best sand sculptures will create a number of fantastic and unique sand works. You can experience 4 metres high sculptures and 7 metres high sculpture walls, which frame the Roman sand sculptures. You can bring your own lunch and eat it while you enjoy the sight of the beautiful and elaborate sculptures. The sand sculpture festival of Søndervig is open from 6 June to 23 October 2011.
