Maritime festival and regatta in the Liim Fiord

Take part in a cosy maritime arrangement and experience a number of impressive wooden ships on the Liim Fiord.
On Monday 12th September 2011 more than 60 beautiful wooden ships, which are going to participate in the regatta 'Limfjorden Rundt', meet in the harbour of Løgstør. The sailing race beings the day after and consist of 5 stages. During the 5 days the ships will moor in Thisted, Struer, Nykøbing, Fur and Skive. The regatta ends with an award ceremony in Skive on Saturday 17th September. In the days before the regatta, from 10th to 13th September, the museum Limfjordsmuseet in Løgstør arranges a maritime festival. Here you can experience a number of maritime activities, active workshops as well as genuine and amusing sailor atmosphere.
