International kite festival on Fanø

Four days with beautiful, colourful and fantastic kites in the sky over the beach of Fanø.
Since 1985 the island of Fanø has arranged a kite festival, and the wide beaches as well as the good wind create optimal conditions for kite flying. In the days from 16th to 19th June 2011 you can experience the impressive sight of kites over the beach Rindby Strand again. About 5,000 kite flyers from the whole world are looking forward to presenting its amazing and fantastic kite models in all colours of the rainbow. Enjoy the sight of the colour inferno, see a show with historic kites, and participate in a kite workshop or a kite auction.
