The forest Rold Skov invites exciting activities for the whole family during the autumn holiday.
From 17 to 24 October 2010 you can experience an abundance of amusing activities in the forest Rold Skov. Here we only mention a few examples. On Sunday the 17th you can visit the marked place 'År 1200 i Rold Skov' (The year 1200 in Rold Skov). The marked is bursting with life and activities, and you can make leather ornaments, taste food that is made after old recipes, shoot with arch and arrow or attend a role play. Wednesday you can see when hundreds of bats wakes up from their hibernation in the mines Thingbæk Kalkminer, go fishing for trouts and meet the witch Dannie Druehyld. Thursday the whole family can have fun and exercise in the forest, and Saturday you can visit the sawmill near the forest house Vedsted Skovhus and try to fell a tree yourselves. Sunday you can come along on a walk in the forest and enjoy the beautiful sight of autumn colours.
