Gilleleje is the northernmost town on Sealand and one of the most scenically situated with forest and beach in the immediate vicinity.The idyllic alleys and the beautifully restored houses have been preserved in Gilleleje. At the same time, Gilleleje is an active town with good shopping possibilities, more restaurants as well as Sealand's largest fishing harbour. At the cosy and evocative harbour you will always find a vivid activity as well as a smokehouse and more fishmongers and restaurants. It is often possible to buy fresh fish directly from the fishing vessels.
