Hou, holiday home 44-0045
Area
The cosy holiday area Hou is situated by the gentle and child-friendly coast of the Kattegat.
Hou lies about 8 km north of Hals, right at the Kattegat. The holiday houses are situated in a preserved forest area behind the coast, which stretches far inland on both sides of Hou.The well-preserved old fishing houses are evidence of the fact that Hou is an old fishing hamlet. The town has a modern and evocative marina with a long pier. The sculpture of an aeolian harp is the landmark of the harbour and consists of the sterns of 2 broken up fishing vessels. The town has more interesting sights, i.a. a gallery and the battery by the south beach of Hou. Hou offers more grocery stores and more restaurants.
