Für die Umgebung vergebe ich nur 4 Sterne, da der Strand überwiegend aus Kies und Fels besteht. Ansonsten ist die Umgebung sehr schön, zum Einkauf muss man etwas weiter Fahren, nach Nyborg, dort ist aber alles erhältlich. Das Haus ist mit allem Ausgestattet was man benötigt, und darüber hinaus noch mehr. An die Angler unter euch, besorgt die Wattwürmer in Deutschland und nehmt sie mit. In der Umgebung Wattis zu bekommen ist fast unmöglich, der nächste Forellensee ist ca. 20 Km entfernt, und der nächste Hochseekutter fährt von Svenborg.

Huset og faciliteterne er fine, og man bor meget centralt ift. at se en masse fynske attraktioner. Stranden ved Tårup er desværre meget stenet, og at kalde den for en børnevenlig badestrand er ifølge os ikke helt korrekt. Der er badebroer til brug for større børn og voksne, men en del er "private". Ordet "privat" samt diverse afspærringer er meget brugt omkring stranden til nogen irritation for os "almindelige" mennesker.
