Lovely bathing beaches and green beechwoods surrounds the small, cosy harbour town Lohals on the north-western side of Langeland.
Experience the vivid activity and quiet charm of Lohals, which is surrounded by recreational forests and inviting beaches. Both the town and the harbour offer a lovely atmosphere. In the evocative marina you can dine, enjoy the sight of the many boats and buy fresh fish from the local fishermen. It is possible to buy groceries in Lohals, which besides shops and restaurants also contains a safari museum and a nature centre.When you spend your holiday in Lohals, you can swim, walk in the forests, drive on bicycle, sail, fish or visit some of Langeland¿s many interesting sights.
A number of artists reside on Langeland, and you can visit them in their galleries and workshops all over the island.
The nearest larger town is Rudkøbing, the 'capital' of Langeland, which is situated 29 km towards south. Here you can shop and go sightseeing in the old and well-preserved market town.
