The 1,000-year-old town Kerteminde is a vivid commercial town with an active fishing harbour, a large and cosy marina, charming joined huses as well as interesting shops, restaurants and sights. You will sense a quite special atmosphere in the narrow streets and alleys with the colourful small houses, the old merchant's houses and the reed roofs. The town is surrounded by the gentle inlet on one side and the open Great Belt on the other.
