Jørgensø is a cosy holiday area by the north Funen coast, right by the good bathing beaches of the Kattegat.
With only a few km to each of the holiday towns Tørresø and Hasmark, Jørgensø is situated right by the beach of north Funen, with a view to 'Fyns Hoved' and surrounded by a lovely and quiet landscape, which invites relaxation and stays in the nature. The area, surrounding the inlet 'Odense Fjord' is with its preserved nature area, forests, beaches and bird sanctuaries ideal for nature lovers, who can experience the landscape on foot or on bicycle. Towards east the bar Enebærodde with the preserved nature area and the inlet 'Odense Fjord', which is an important resting place for migrating birds, are situated. The bar has a lovely nature, a rich bird life and a lighthouse from the year 1869. It is popular to drive on bicycle, walk, fish or have a picnic here.It is possible to buy groceries in the area, and Otterup, 8 km from Jørgensø, offers good shopping possibilities.
