During a walk through the aquarium hall you will learn about the multiplicity of the Danish marine environment and be fascinated by the brilliant adaptation abilities of the fish to a life in water. Furthermore, you will become acquainted with the fishery of the different species and have the opportunity of meeting the aquarium staff and hear about fish and marine animals. In the 500,000 litres large sealarium pool you can experience the two seal species that live in our waters: the common seal, which is the most usual, as well as the rare grey seal. The seals are visible both from the edge of the pool as well as through a 15 metres wide underwater window. The large halls of the museum contains exhibitions, representing the deep-sea fishery of Western Jutland - mainly from the twentieth century - as well as the shipping in the Jutland Wadden Sea from the viking age and up till today. Furthermore, varying temporary exhibitions are arranged on the spot.
