From Høve Strand you can enjoy the view of the bay 'Sejerø-bugten' with the tongue of land 'Sjællands Odde' in the background.
 The quiet and cosy holiday house area Høve Strand is situated on the north coast of western Sealand, right by the bay 'Sejrø-bugten'. Here you will find peace, quiet, lovely nature, beach and water, which is suitable for swimming, surfing, diving, fishing and sailing. The area is ideal for especially nature lovers and anglers. It is possible to buy groceries in the area, and Holbæk, 30 km towards south, offers a number of shops, restaurants, leisure activities and cultural sights.
Beach
By Høve Strand you will find a lovely, sandy beach with low dunes and Blue Flag. The beach is very suitable for children. Surfers will also find good conditions here.
Between Høve Strand and Ordrup, a couple of km towards south, yet another good beach is available. Here you will find a raised beach with table and bench. A slope leads down to the water, which enables you to bring a wheel chair, a perambulator etc.
By Hønsinge Lyng (7 km towards north) you will find one of the best beaches of the area Odsherred. The beach is a lovely, sandy bathing each with low dunes. It is also very suitable for children. To get to the beach, you will have to walk over a bridge, which connects the shore with the sand bars.
Nature
 The scenic forest area by Høve stretches almost to the waters edge. This old forest contains a large amount of leaf-bearing trees, and when the leaves turn golden in the autumn, it is possible to find eatable chestnut here. From the hill 'Maglehøj' by Høve you can enjoy the great view of the bay 'Sejrø Bugten' and the forest 'Jyderup Skov'.
Ordrup, which is scenically situated only a few km south of Høve Strand, is surrounded by forest and water, and here you will find the isthmus 'Ordrup Næs' - a partly preserved nature area with pines and leaf-bearing trees. From the tip of the isthmus you can observe both porpoises and common seals, if you are in luck.
Vesterlyngen by Havnsø is Sealand's largest moor landscape with meadows, small lakes, heather and rare vegetation. The area is a conservation area, and a lovely, public beach is available here (17 km).
Activities
You will find good angling opportunities all along the shores of western Sealand, in the Put & Take fishponds of the area as well as on the sea, onboard a fishing vessel, which sails out from f.x. Havnsø and Sjællands Odde.
A minigolf course is available in Hønsinge Lyng (7 km), and the area offers more golf courses, like i.a. those of 'Højby Golfbane', 'Odsherred Golfklub' and 'Mensalgård Pay & Play' with 9 holes.
If you wish to go horseback riding, it is possible to rent horses more places in the area.
At the isthmus 'Ordrup Næs' you can follow a path all around the scenic area. Because of the good wind conditions of the headland, it is very popular to fly with kite here.
The area is also of interest for divers, who can search for finds from an old stone age settlement about 50 metres offshore by 'Ordrup Næs'.
Worth a visit
 From the beautiful old mill 'Høve Mølle' you can enjoy a scenic view of the bay 'Sejerø-bugten' and the tongue of land 'Sjællands Odde'.
In the zoo 'Odsherreds Zoo Dyrepark' by Asnæs you can experience 600 animals, divided on 100 species (3 km).
The castle 'Dragsholm Slot' by Hørve is Denmark¿s oldest castle. The former fortress from the early Middle Ages contains a dungeon and offers many ghost stories. A beautiful palace garden belongs to the castle (12 km).
The passage grave by Højby is one of the best preserved graves in the country. The passage grave has 2 chambers, is 4.5 metres high, has an external diameter of 26 metres and functioned as burial chamber for 98 people (14 km). The exhibition from the excavation can be seen on the nearby 'Stenstrup Museum' (16 km).
Excursion spots
Go on a ferry trip from Havnsø (17 km) across the bay 'Sejerø-bugten' to the traffic-free island Nekselø, which offers a scenic and interesting landscape with a rich animal life and great views, or to the island Sejerø, which has Denmark's mildest climate, a hilly landscape, many small bathing beaches as well as more passage graves and a monolith.
The amusement park 'Sommerland Sjælland' by Nykøbing offers more than 60 activities for the whole family, like a cosy canoe trip, a wild ride in the roller coaster or a visit to the largest water world in Sealand (17 km).
Visit the capital Copenhagen with the vivid culture life, museums, music, theatres, galleries, the pedestrian street 'Strøget' and sights like the Tivoli, a planetarium, the art museum 'Carlsberg Glyptotek', the castle 'Rosenborg Slot' with the crown jewels, København Zoo and much more (90 km).
