Dronningmølle is situated at the top of North Sealand, surrounded by beach, forest and tourist towns.
 Right between the two popular holiday towns Gilleleje and Hornbæk you will find Dronningmølle, which offers one of the best bathing beaches of North Sealand. Dronningmølle is an ideal holiday destination if you wish to live in scenic surroundings and still be close to the town life, the leisure activities and the sights.
In the cosy town of Dronningmølle you will find a train station, good shopping possibilities and more restaurants.
Beach
The beach of Dronningmølle is a lovely, wide bathing beach with fine sand and a few dunes. The water is shallow and calm, which makes the beach very suitable for children. The beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag, and during the summer months, a lifeguard keeps an eye out for the bathers. A long slope leads down to the beach, which makes it possible to bring a wheel chair, a perambulator and things like that.
The beach is one of the most popular in North Sealand.
Nature
 Just south of Dronningmølle you will find the preserved heather and nature area 'Ruslands Bakker' with good walking paths.
The hills 'Fyrbakkerne' is situated 4 km west of Dronningmølle, between Gilleleje and the lighthouse 'Nakkehoved Fyr', and the forest offers more marked walking routes.
The headland 'Gilbjerghoved' by Gilleleje is situated 35 metres above sea level and from here you can enjoy a great view of the area and the Kattegat. In clear weather it is possible to see all the way to the island Hesselø. Gilbjerg is a popular area for migratory birds.
By the forest 'Grib Skov', 8 km from Dronningmølle, you will also find the lake 'Esrum Sø', which is scenically surrounded by an untouched landscape with forests and meadows. Here you can swim, sail and observed the birds in the bird sanctuary.
'Heatherhill' by Rågeleje is a beautiful, preserved and undulating area with large heathery hills, which lead all the way down to the Kattegat.
Activities
In Dronningmølle a minigolf course is available.
Golf players can try out one of the many courses in the area. The nearest are the ones in Passebækgård, Hornbæk, Gilleleje and Asserbo.
Anglers will find good opportunities in the stream 'Esrum Å' as well as all the way along the shore.
Lovely nature experiences await you along the many walking and bicycle paths of the area.
Worth a visit
At the museum 'Rudolf Tegners Museum' in Dronningmølle the plaster and marble sculptures of the sculptor Tegner are exhibited.
The lighthouse 'Nakkehoved Fyr' was build in the year 1772 and is situated about 30 metres above sea level. From the path by the lighthouse you can enjoy the scenic view of the area and the sea.
'Munkeruphus' is a preserved and idyllically situated country house, which is used for exhibitions.
The castle ruin 'Søborg Slotsruin' originates from the 13th. century and was used as a state prison during the Middle Ages. The ruin is situated about 5 km from Dronningmølle.
The old Cistercian convent 'Esrum Kloster' from the year 1151 has a beautiful convent garden and a small convent pharmacy. The convent is scenically situated by the lake 'Esrum Sø'.
Excursion spots
The amusement park 'Nordsjællands Sommerpark' in Græsted is a cornucopia of amusements and activities for both children and adults. Among other things it offers a jungle path and a water world (20 km).
In North Sealand you will find more interesting castles. With its towers and spires the castle 'Frederiksborg Slot' looks like something out of a fairy-tale. The castle 'Fredensborg Slot' is the summer residence of the Queen Margrethe.
The marked town Helsingør by the 'gate' of the sound 'Øresund' contains a cosy, old quarter and the beautiful castle 'Kronborg Slot', which is one of Northern Europe's most significant Renaissance castles (20 km).
Experience the capital Copenhagen with the vivid culture life, museums, music, theatres, galleries, the pedestrian street 'Strøget' and sights like the Tivoli, a planetarium, the adventure centre 'Eksperimentarium', the art museum 'Carlsberg Glyptotek', the castle 'Rosenborg Slot' with the crown jewels, København Zoo and much more (75 km).
