Hvorupgård Fiskesø is located in the idyllic Hvorupgaard, 6 km north of the centre of Aalborg. Here you will find two good fishponds, which are connected by a canal and can be crossed by way of a bridge. 450 kg of rainbow trout are regularly released in the ponds and the risk of leaving empty-handed it not big. It is actually not unusual to catch a fish of more than 10 kilos! The fishpond is worth a visit at any time, and fishing competitions with attractive prices are often arranged on the spot. On Fridays and Saturdays you are able to fish in the nighttime.
