Munkbro Fiskesø

The Morgan family bids you a hearty welcome to the fishpond Munkbro Fiskepark. The 8,000 square metres large pond is located in a scenic nature area, 5 km from Holstebro. Trouts with a weight of 1-10 kilos are regularly released in the pond. However, the fish in the children's pond only weighs between 0.5 and 2 kilos. The fishpond is disabled-friendly, as a bridge is available by the shore of the pond. Furthermore, a children's pond, a large playground, a fireplace, a gas grill, indoor fish cleaning facilities, toilet for disabled persons as well as tables and benches are available on the spot. In a small house by the pond you can buy fishing tackle, ice-cream, candy and drinks. The fishponds is open year round from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. if the pond is ice-free. Fishing licences can be obtained by means of self-service.
