The village 'Dejbjerg Jernalder' is vitalized in the summer, and here you can experience the iron-age people while they cook, take care of their animals, cultivate the fields and manufacture tools, and you can try to shoot with bow and arrow, manufacture leather and wooden objects, forge or take part in the various activities, which are arranged during the vitalization. The open-air museum also contains a museum, which has been established in an iron age farm, which is made out of clay, and here you can see original iron age objects from the area, like f.x. a reconstruction of the bog find 'Dejbjergvognen' (the carriage of Dejbjerg), and learn more about the life in western Jutland during the iron age. The museum shops in Dejbjerg Jernalder sells goods like amber, pottery, leather, wooden toys and 'viking blood' among other things.
