Hjerl Hedes Frilandsmuseum

Hjerl Hede is one of Denmark's large and interesting family excursion spots, and the open-air museum is famous beyond the borders of the country for it's vitalizations, in which more than 100 persones take part during the Danish summer holidays and in December by illustrating how our ancestors lived and worked. The village, the forest museum 'Skovmuseet', the museum for exploitation of bogs 'Mosebrugsmuseet', the stone-age village, the workshops and the nature by Hjerl Hede provides the visitor with a vivid impression of the living conditions during that period.
