Hvolris Jernalderlandsby

'Hvolris Jernalderlandsby' is an open-air museum with iron age houses, people, remains of stone age graves, the sacrificial rites of the bronze age, the cookery of the Middle Ages, a nature playground, a sculpture grove, a café and a picnic area. During the school holidays you can experience the everyday life, as it went on 2,000 years ago. Observe how the people of the village weave clothes, forge knifes, drink from cow's horns, shoot with bows, make food and much more. Competitions for the children are being arranged and on the museum exhibition you can see interesting finds from the Hvolris area.
